I’m Shannon Enold.
I believe that everyone possesses great wisdom. Finding it, connecting with it, embracing it — it’s often not easy. That’s where the work comes in. I look forward to taking that journey with you.
I work with individuals, couples, families and groups to help them adjust to life changes and improve interpersonal communication and connection drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities for Person-Centered, Strength-Based treatment. Clients set their own pace for their journey in a safe relationship designed to set them up for continuous growth.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over twenty-five years of experience, I hold licenses in both Virginia and Texas. I provide assessment, counseling and support to clients who are facing issues involving relationships, addiction, illness, trauma, grief and other changing life circumstances.
My experience working in medical, educational, and military fields, and in workplace and home settings, has taught me that some challenges do not require counseling. Often, a fresh perspective and new strategies can result in positive changes in any setting. That’s where coaching and consultation shines.
A caring and empathetic listener, I help my clients find their unique strengths to navigate their path to healing. I have lived and supported people around the world and I understand the role that cultural and personal factors play into each individual’s journey. I also understand complex family systems and enjoy empowering people, helping them cultivate the skills needed to realize their potential for living fulfilling and happy lives.
I partner with my clients to help them identify and remove barriers to their growth in a supportive, accepting, solution-focused environment.
